Process Engineer – Engineering Department

As a Process Engineer, you are responsible for coordinating the design and execution of customer solutions while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, manufacturability, and continuous improvement. You will lead design resources, support project execution, and act as a key technical link between engineering, production, and sales.

Engineering Leadership & Coordination

·        Coordinate and prioritize the work of the design team to ensure efficiency and on-time delivery.

·        Support and guide designers in the execution of engineering activities.

·        Drive continuous development of the design team.

Design & Product Development

·        Design and develop textile and HU solutions considering functionality, durability, project engineering input, and cost parameters.

·        Execute concepts based on customer requirements and production capabilities, ensuring waste reduction and price optimization.

·        Continuously improve designed products and technical solutions.

Project Execution & Industrialization

·        Lead the formal release of projects to production.

·        Ensure technical documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with manufacturing needs.

·        Resolve technical documentation errors that impact production or customer complaints.

Prototyping, Quality & Validation

·        Validate prototype functionality, reliability, and quality (IPE).

·        Ensure final technical approval before production ramp-up.

Systems & Cross-Functional Support

·        Maintain accurate data in SAP and Siemens Teamcenter (TC).

·        Support BAT and cross-functional teams when required.

·        Provide technical support to Sales on project-related matters.

Standards, Safety & Workplace Organization

·        Perform work according to the Knowledge Compendium and best practices.

·        Ensure all safety procedures are followed.

·        Maintain an organized and professional workplace.

This position is based in our office in Zapopan, Mexico

Education

·        You have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Design or a related technical field.

Experience

·        Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer (external candidates), or

·        Minimum 2 years of experience as a Designer within conTeyor (internal candidates).

Technical Skills

·        Experience with Siemens NX (preferred).

·        Experience with Siemens Teamcenter (TC) (preferred).

·        Strong understanding of engineering documentation, product development, and industrialization processes.

Languages

·        Excellent command of English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
