Our story is one of vision, transformation, and a shared commitment to a more sustainable future. It began in 1988, when Horst Wintrich founded KTP as a family business in Saarlouis. What started as a recycling operation for the Ford automotive plant - dealing with wooden pallets, plastic film and packaging waste - quickly evolved into something greater: the development of intelligent, reusable packaging systems that would change the way goods are stored and transported.

Just a few years later, in 1995, conTeyor was born out of the same spirit of innovation. With two decades of experience in the automotive industry, Jos van Bree envisioned a smarter solution for

protecting delicate car parts: a textile-based hanging packaging system that could be reused again and again. This groundbreaking idea set a new standard in product protection and sustainability.

Today, the legacy of both companies lives on in the new company KTPconTeyor. The KTP transport and storage containers are made with over 80% recycled plastic, and the company’s textile solutions continue to reduce packaging waste across industries. Now led by the next generation, our shared mission remains clear: to create forward-thinking packaging solutions that minimize environmental impact and maximize efficiency - for over three decades and counting.
