SJF Material Handling Inc, partnered with a rapidly expanding retail distribution centre in Indiana that needed to increase its pick slot capacity quickly while continuing to operate within its current racking layout. Rather than investing in additional racking or undertaking a costly facility reconfiguration, the site installed 27 Storeganizer bays, delivering 1,348 pick faces across the operation. Because the system can be retrofitted directly into existing rack structures, it provided a fast, low-disruption solution for a facility that required results over a single weekend.
Storeganizer’s high-density storage system enabled the distribution centre to significantly increase pick slot capacity without expanding its footprint or interrupting operations. With five bin sizes available, the system can accommodate a wide range of SKU profiles. Visitors to our showroom test bay quickly recognise how practical the system is for a variety of operations.
This project demonstrates how Storeganizer supports fast-growing fulfilment operations by enabling them to scale efficiently. Pick faces can be added quickly and cost-effectively without altering the building infrastructure. It highlights the value of intelligent, space-efficient storage solutions in modern retail distribution environments.
