A new approach to storage in Indianapolis

Langham Logistics operates a warehouse in Indianapolis, where a growing volume of small parcels placed increasing pressure on the existing storage system.
After discovering Storeganizer at ProMat in 2023, the facility built it up in three phases between October 2023 and March 2024, from 19 to 108 bays, including its cold and freezer storage rooms.

The challenge

As the volume of small parcels grew, the existing storage system could no longer provide the capacity required to keep up. Picking and packing were time-consuming and labor-intensive, which led to longer lead times and lower productivity. The warehouse also lacked the flexibility to adapt to changing customer demands and to optimize its storage layout and pick paths.
