The challenge
The customer set the task to create a robust and space-efficient solution for a collection of components, encompassing three distinct sizes. Additionally, the packaging needed to be resilient, as it would be used more than 25 times daily.
The solution
Our engineering team defined a pocket matrix which allowed our customer to pack as many part variants as possible in a secure way. They opted for a robust textile fabric which would prove to resist an extremely intense load frequency over time. The bag system was connected to the injection moulded outer handling unit by means of Velcro and plastic rivets to ensure a durable fixation.
The result
A robust packaging for internal use, which makes our customer’s assembly processes more flexible, more ergonomic and more stable and drives down defect rates due to part damage or assembly errors.
